The beauty of dreams, and the promise of a technoprogressive future.
Crystals are magnificent structures, some created over millions of years through the slow, and persistent accumulation of energy and matter, and others in a flash of heat and the realignment of ions. They symbolize progression of time and life in much the same way that technoprogressivism expresses the power of human imagination and creativity – the steady advancement of our technologies, and the persistent pursuit of a better world through innovation and experimentation. Just like crystals, our dreams are multifaceted and complex. They represent the boundless potential of human aspiration, the incredible diversity of human experience, and the limitless range of human imagination.
Logo Design
The logo takes inspiration from a floating crystal and the refraction of colors. The form is strongly related to and responds to the shape of the logo of Keio Media Design, which is a combination of question and exclamation marks.

Typeface
Crystal Display is a display typeface created for KMD Forum 2023. Firstly a 3D version is of typeface is created, followed by the 2D linear and filled-in versions.
Flyer Design
The flyer is designed with the typeface, key visual and event information. Following a designed pattern, the flyer is folded into the shape of a diamond in responding to the brand direction. It is distributed in the folded shape of a diamond, and can be easily expanded without a lot of folding marks, which maintains the clarity of information.
